The Opportunity Here was built out of a simple frustration – too many talented Africans miss life-changing scholarships, fellowships, and programs simply because they never heard about them in time.
We started in Ghana, where that gap is very real. Brilliant students and young professionals are out there working hard, but the information they need to take the next step – a fully funded master’s degree, a leadership fellowship, a grant for their startup – is scattered across dozens of websites, buried in newsletters, or shared too late to act on.
That’s what we’re here to fix.

Our audience is primarily young Africans and emerging leaders globally who are ready to grow but need access to the right doors.
Who’s Behind This
My name is Stephen Selorm Bedzrah. I’m a software developer, entrepreneur, and founder based in Accra, Ghana. I also run Grete Solution, an IT solutions company, and MyClean – a waste collection platform operating in Accra.
I built The Opportunity Here because I believe access to information is access to power. The same energy I put into building technology that solves real problems, I bring here – finding opportunities that can genuinely change the trajectory of someone’s life.
