Organized by the Africa Dyslexia Organisation (ADO), this unique fellowship is designed to equip local champions with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become effective grassroots dyslexia advocates across the continent.

- Drive nationwide awareness and policy shifts to support individuals with dyslexia

Program Details
Training Phase
February to March 2026 (2 months, virtual):
- Bi-weekly virtual sessions
- Peer collaboration
- Completion of two community-based projects
Active Fellowship Phase
April 2026 to March 2028 (2 years):
- Lead a minimum of two advocacy projects per year
- Represent ADO in national forums
- Mentor future advocates
- Submit regular impact reports
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be aged 18–55
- Have completed at least post-secondary or vocational education
- Have a minimum of 1 year of work and 1 year of volunteer experience
- Commit to 2 years of active service after training
- Be aligned with ADO’s mission and values
- Be available for training and community-based activities
