Fully Funded Climate Prosperity Fellowship Program 2025 – Build Climate Finance Leadership for a Resilient Future

- Fellowships - August 13, 2025

The V20 Climate Prosperity Fellowship Program 2025 is now open for applications, offering a fully funded opportunity for finance officials, policy leaders, and climate professionals from climate-vulnerable countries to shape the future of sustainable development.

Launched by the V20 Finance Ministers in partnership with the Boston University Global Development Policy Center, this fellowship is designed to empower leaders to design and implement Climate Prosperity Plans (CPPs)—strategies that move beyond survival-focused responses to climate change toward long-term prosperity through low-carbon, climate-resilient growth.

About the Program

The fellowship delivers intensive training on climate finance, macroeconomic reforms, and international policy negotiation. Participants will gain expertise in:

  • Reforming global financial systems to support CPPs
  • Accessing international climate finance and mobilizing domestic resources
  • Navigating debt reform mechanisms and carbon financing tools
  • Building advocacy strategies to influence global decision-making

This program aligns with the CVF-V20 Leaders’ Declaration and equips fellows with the knowledge and skills to transform climate policies in their countries.
